Livingston, NJ – GolfHER announces plans to exhibit Spring and Summer/Fall 2014 collections at the PGA Show, January 22nd-25th in Orlando, Fla.
GolfHER first debuted in 2013 and caught the eyes of Women’s Wear Daily where the brand was selected for the “Ones to watch” feature and chosen to display at the Emerging Designers Showcase at WWDMagic in Las Vegas. GolfHER was founded by owner and designer Sarah Schultz who grew up playing golf as a teen. “As much as I loved the game one of my biggest struggles was not my opening drive nerves but what to wear on the first tee. Retailers did not stock junior golf apparel. I tried sporting junior shorts but the nature of the “short” shorts typically led me back into the clubhouse for a wardrobe change into…”gasp” unflattering khakis. My apparel was appalling. It was around that time that I promised myself that I would create a fashion friendly golf clothing line.” Sarah is a competitive golfer which reflects in the functionality of GolfHER apparel. The clothing includes functional pockets and fabrics consisting of wicking components and SPF protection.
In booth 4364, GolfHER will be showcasing Spring and Summer/Fall 2014 collections. New for 2014 is a flattering longer sleeve polo option which resolves the dreaded arm area for most women. “This was a complaint from many of my fellow GolfHER’s. Sarah encourages all merchandisers and players to share their wants and needs. “I strive to fill the gaps within the apparel market. This is a brand made by a GolfHER for GolfHER’s.”
For 2014, GolfHER is expanding the brand to include pull on shorts. “The demand for pull on shorts has been increasing this past year and I want to adapt my designs to the customers needs.” GolfHER will be also offering a favorite for all ladies, the LBD, little black dress. This pairs well with zipper jackets and is golf, tennis and 19th hole friendly. “With apparel names of ‘I can hit from the blues, Albatross, and Mulligan’ we want golf fashion to be fun and spirited. This keeps with the main theme behind the brand to have fun and look great while lowering your fashion handicap!”
From Wednesday January 22nd – Friday January 24th, GolfHER will exhibit in booth 4364 at The Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
