Statham, Ga. (January 09, 2014) – The 27-hole Chancellors Course at The Georgia Club has been ranked #2 among the “Top 10 Courses in Atlanta,” on GolfNow, a rating that relies on more than 5,000 reviews from everyday golfers.
Founded in 2001, GolfNow is the Internet’s largest and most comprehensive online tee-time reservation service. GolfNow’s users have the opportunity to rate golf courses they have played through the tee-time service on a 5-Star grading system. The Georgia Club earned an average of 4.64 Stars, with nearly 2/3 of the reviewers giving the course a perfect ranking.
Review criteria includes 18-hole pace of play, course difficulty, course conditions, staff friendliness and value for the money. A minimum of 30 ratings is needed for a course to be eligible for the ranking.
Earlier this year The Georgia Club was ranked #25 on the Top 100 list of all-around “Best Courses in America” on GolfNow, a rating that relied on more than 100,000 reviews. That ranking had The Georgia Club sharing “Top 100” honors with such other elite national courses as The Boulders Resort in Carefree, Az., and Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Fl.
