The National Women’s Golf Alliance (NWGA) has been named a finalist in the “Public Relations & Promotions” category of the 21st Annual ING Industry Honors Awards program.
Called by many , the “Academy Awards of the golf industry,” the ING Industry Honors program is conducted by the non-profit International Network of Golf to recognize outstanding achievement in 12 categories of the golf business. Dozens of nominations from all across the golf industry are submitted with sub-committees for each category voting to narrow the lists to the final three.
Winners will be decided by a vote of the ING membership and announced at the Industry Honors Presentation Press Conference January 23 at 12:30 p.m. at Orlando’s PGA Merchandise Show in ClubING, Room 309.
“We are honored to be recognized by the ING for the work we are doing to help courses better meet the needs of and connect with their female customers while enhancing their bottom line revenue,” says Debbie Waitkus, a founding partner of NWGA and president of Golf for Cause.
About the National Women’s Golf Alliance

They have brought together their years of expertise, data and observation regarding what women golfers want, need and expect for an enhanced playing experience that keeps women excited about and engaged in golf for years to come.
