IRVINE, CA – JANUARY 15, 2014 – FOURTEEN GOLF, a premium boutique golf equipment company known for their award winning wedges, irons and global golf presence on most tours, is excited to announce that the company is prepared to formally introduce their longest driver yet – the GelongD CT-214 Driver at the 2014 PGA Demo Day and PGA Merchandise Show.
According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “The GelongD CT-214 Driver made its official debut at the LDA Long Drive Championship in Mesquite, Nevada where LDA Professional Jason Eslinger used it to compete. It unleashed powerful and accurate drives for him and it will do the same for the attendees of the PGA Demo Day and PGA Merchandise Show. We welcome buyers, retailers, instructors and the media to come by our hitting bays and try this commanding driver.”
The 450cc semi-shallow club head is manufactured out of a four-piece titanium structure, which is designed for better energy transfer and better initial boost at impact. The precise CG placement provides for optimal launch and distance. This placement also allows for a lower spin rate with higher trajectory.
The GelongD CT-214 Driver features a “lively” yet legal face. The multi-thick cupped face promotes an immediate response at impact, the ball comes off the face faster and with more velocity which is a key component to hitting long and straight drives.
In addition, a wider sweet spot allows for consistency in both direction and distance. The black IP manufactured face and head looks great at address.
The new MD-350JD graphite shaft was created exclusively for the GelongD CT-214 Driver. The butt end is thicker in order to stabilize the shaft movement during the swing. This shaft allows golfers to consistently hit the ball with the correct timing. The length of the shaft is maximized to 47.75 inches. This longer shaft creates a higher club head speed and produces an ideal flex at impact.
The new GelongD 214 Driver will be available to hit at the PGA Demo Day held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Orange County National Golf Center in Orlando, FL. FOURTEEN GOLF will be located on the driving range where their entire 2014 line of golf equipment will be available to demonstrate.
If attendees miss an opportunity to experience FOURTEEN GOLF equipment during the demo day, they can visit the FOURTEEN GOLF booth in the Equipment Testing Center at hitting bay #41 during the PGA Merchandise Show at the Orange County Convention Center. The company will be exhibiting from Wednesday, January 22nd to Friday, January 24th. Please note that the FOURTEEN GOLF booth or hitting bay location has changed in the past unbeknownst to the company — please refer to the PGA Merchandise Directory for confirmation.
FOURTEEN GOLF and its professional tour program continue to grow and gain respect from the PGA, Nationwide, LPGA, JPGA, JLPGA, KLPGA Tours and more. The company is known for taking great pride in this department, as it remains a leading division at FOURTEEN GOLF. The company has signed endorsement deals with many PGA Professionals including; Arjun Atwal, Chad Collins, Ryuji Imada, and John Mallinger.
The name “Fourteen” is based on the fundamental rule of golf, which states that the player can carry up to 14 golf clubs in their bag. FOURTEEN GOLF strives to produce the best 14 clubs ever. FOURTEEN GOLF aims to achieve the ultimate in club characteristics which allow golfers to hit shots they didn’t think possible.
