HARTFORD, CONN., January 15, 2014: Back9Network, the golf lifestyle multiplatform media network, announced today that Emmy Award-winning programming and production executive, Scot Thor will join the network as Senior Vice President of Programming. Scot is leaving behind his role as Senior Vice President of Development and Production at Intersport.

Thor’s experience includes 20 years of sports and entertainment media experience in network and start up environments. He oversaw the development and launch of the first ever made for mobile content verticals in entertainment, music, sports, and Latino for Sprint inclusive of production, programming, and ad sales. He was also responsible for launching 20 West Productions, Intersport’s original non-fiction content group diversifying traditional sports companies’ client portfolios to include the likes of Discovery Communications, Scripps Networks, AETN and MSNBC.
