Under Armour Eyewear, AJGA Partner

January 29, 2014

New York, NY – Under Armour® Eyewear will expand its involvement with the American Junior Golf Association in 2014, as Under Armour Eyewear becomes the official eyewear of the AJGA.

As a part of the new agreement, Under Armour Eyewear will outfit the Wyndham Cup teams, PING Junior Solheim Cup team in 2015, AJGA staff members and AJGA juniors at the five Under Armour branded events.

The Under Armour Eyewear season of AJGA events features UA-sponsored athletes Hunter Mahan, Gary Woodland, Jeff Overton, Scott Stallings and Jordan Spieth. Events begin in March with the Under Armour / Hunter Mahan Championship and end in August with the Under Armour / Jordan Spieth Championship.

“We are excited to have Under Armour Eyewear as the official eyewear of the AJGA,” said Jason Etzen, AJGA chief business officer. “Under Armour has built a brand we are proud to partner with and are excited to continue to share with our membership.”

Under Armour Eyewear will continue its ongoing educational outreach programs by providing relevant information to AJGA ‘U’ regarding the importance of eye protection and health for young golfers.

“The American Junior Golf Association is the ideal platform for Under Armour Eyewear to support young golfers and share product information that makes them better players,” said Jarrett Bockler, Under Armour Eyewear director of marketing. “We are honored to be able to educate and support AJGA golfers as they compete throughout the season.”
