Conshohocken, PA: For the fifth straight year the FitGolf Performance Center of San Diego provided stretching to all the Amateur participants of the Charley Hoffman Pro-Am held on the North Course at Torrey Pines Golf Club at the Farmers Insurance Open. Charley recognizes how important flexibility is for his game, and the game of the star studded field of pros that played in the event, but it is probably more important for the busy working professional that doesn’t get out to the golf course as often as they would like.
The mission of the The Charley Hoffman Foundation was created by PGA TOUR® professional Charley Hoffman and his wife Stacy in 2009 to raise funds for charities benefiting children of San Diego and Las Vegas. Based on the maxim “think local first,” the Foundation’s fundraising activities reward organizations benefiting young people living in San Diego and Las Vegas. The foundation’s Board of Directors, includes trusted family members and friends who share the desire to provide a positive environment to raise money and awareness for children through education, sports, and health.
“Fitgolf Performance Center of San Diego is proud to be able help amateurs understand the simple things they can do away from the golf course, and before they play”, said Greg Knuth. “That can make golf easier, safer, and more fun.”
FitGolf Performance Centers programs are offered in 31 locations. The company is dedicated to helping golfers from a unique angle-the golfer’s body. Based on the idea that a body limitation contributes to every swing flaw, FitGolf Performance Centers offers the most comprehensive set of golf fitness training and assessment tools to help you play better, more consistent golf with fewer aches and pains.
