Conshohocken, PA FitGolf Performance Centers, The Golf Fitness Experts™ in Conshohocken, PA announces that student Jalen Griffin, who has been training for three years at our Philadelphia Area facility, recently has signed a national letter of intent to attend the University of San Francisco next fall. Griffin currently attends Wissahickon High School in Ambler, PA. He was the runner up at the 2012 American Junior Golf Associations Killington Junior Championship; he also set a tournament record at the Philadelphia 2012 Christmas Cup, at the famed Merion Golf Club, with a 7-under par.
“I can’t wait to start playing on the West Coast for this program. I feel like I will be able to improve my game a lot with head coach Richard Yokota,” Griffin stated. “San Francisco is such a beautiful city and I have family there as well.”
Jalen Griffin has also received awards for achievements off the greens. He was selected for the AJGA HP Scholastic Honor Roll in 2012 and received honorable mention for the USGA-AJGA President’s Leadership Award in 2013 for his effort in raising $5,300 for the CURE Epilepsy charity.
