TUSTIN, CA – FEBRUARY 9, 2013 – Tustin Ranch Golf Club, a Tustin community cornerstone for 25-years, with its signature Ted Robinson designed golf course, award winning instructional golf staff, delectable food and unforgettable weddings, is proud to announce it has collaborated with Silver Oaks Winery to create an unforgettable night of food and wine.
This fine dining event will be held on Saturday, February 15th at the Tustin Ranch Golf Club. The five-course food and wine experience begins with an elegant Amuse-Bouche comprised of coconut poached Maine Lobster, prosciutto with fruit which is paired with Veuve Clicquot Champagne.
According to Bert S. Agor Jr., Executive Chef at Tustin Ranch Golf Club,”People who enjoy ‘seafood with steak’ will appreciate our creative and culinary approach to this favorite. We’ve separated this combination into courses so their flavors can be enjoyed independently and the wines included complement the tastes.”
The second course features a pan roasted Chilean Sea Bass, King Crab and Tabouli that is matched with a Twomey Merlot. The third course will not be forgotten. It consists of a blue cheese crusted, dry aged, New York Steak, with a Cauliflower puree and a wild mushroom demi-glaze. An Alexander Valley Cabernet finishes this amazing entrée.
An herb crusted Lamb, fingerling potatoes, and beet chard are included in the fourth course. A Napa Valley Cabernet complements the rich Lamb. The elegant evening is finished with a Pineapple Upside-down Cake with wild Bing Cherry & wine sauce served with a Meyer Port.
Tustin Ranch Golf Club is located at 12442 Tustin Ranch Road, Tustin, California. Guests should plan to arrive at 6:00pm, dinner will be served at 6:30pm and the evening should be complete around 9:30pm. The Silver Oak Wine dinner costs $129.00 plus tax, per person.
