ORLANDO, Fla. – February 13, 2014 – FlightScope, a world leader in the development and manufacturing of 3D Doppler club and ball tracking monitors, golf radars and launch monitors for sports, today announced that it experienced it’s best PGA Merchandise Show in the company’s history. FlightScope had a busy week last week, starting off by hosting, in conjunction with the PGA Merchandise Show, a condensed FlightScope Academy program during Demo Day at Orange County National. Due to the popularity of the academy FlightScope was forced to cap the number of attendees at 175. “The certification course was outstanding…I really learned a lot,” said Mike Strlekar, PGA Head Golf Professional at Montclair Golf Club, NJ.
The 2014 PGA Merchandise Show was a very important event on the calendar for FlightScope as they launched various new products; including the highly anticipated consumer model, FlightScope Xi, as well as the wirelessly integrated FlightScope-BodiTrak pressure mat.
“Given that the PGA Show typically reports a 4% year-over-year increase in attendance, we were thrilled to have had double digit growth years-over-year,” said Henri Johnson, founder and CEO of FlightScope. More than 15,000 shots were tracked on FlightScope radars during the 2014 PGA Merchandise Show. That equates to nearly 500 shots per hour. “One of the biggest trends this year was technology that helps golfers improve his/her skills, and FlightScope’s technology proved to be a perfect match,” Johnson continued.
