CMAA Honors Award-Winning Chapters

Alexandria, VA – February 24, 2014 – The Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) is proud to announce its Chapter of the Year and Club Management Institute (CMI) Award for Excellence in Education winners. These chapters excelled in membership operations, recruitment and educational programming in 2013. These awards were announced on Saturday, February 8, at the Awards and Conference Finale held at the 87th World Conference and Club Business Expo in Orlando, FL.

The Chapter of the Year Award competition recognizes outstanding work, participation and successful accomplishments by chapters within the Association. Chapters are judged on the Chapter Résumé and Questionnaire, Chapter and National Education and CMAA Involvement. A $3,000 Education grant funded by The Club Foundation is awarded to each of the three winning chapters.

Endorsed by the Club Management Institute (CMI), the educational arm of CMAA, the Award for Excellence in Education showcases CMAA chapters that are contributing to the club management profession through creative, informative, relevant and innovative annual programming. Each winning chapter in the Small, Medium and Large categories is awarded a $1,000 Education Grant from The Club Foundation to be used toward future chapter education programs.
