LAKE MARY, FL – Golf’s leading driver company, player development organization, golf vacation destination and golf travel package company are among the companies that have committed to attending the 24th Annual ING Spring Conference June 1-4 at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.
TaylorMade Golf, SNAG, Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday and Golfpac Travel will be among the Exhibiting Companies at golf’s most unique networking conference. All four will participate in the popular One-On-One Appointment Show, as well as other elements of the conference.
The non-profit International Network of Golf is the industry’s only media-based networking organization. ING is “where the media and golf industry connect.” Anyone in the golf industry and media is invited to join and attend.
ABOUT THE 24TH ANNUAL ING SPRING CONFERENCE
The 2014 ING Spring Conference will welcome approximately 150 people from all walks of the golf industry and media. The popular One-On-One Appointment Show has been expanded to two days, and the educational format has been revised to feature more customized choices, including sessions on Social Media Marketing.
Approximately 20 companies are expected to display their products for testing in the Demo Lab. There will also be golf events, including the World Golfers Amateur Tour National Qualifier, and the 7th Annual Durland Cup Scramble.
Resorts Casino Hotel will serve as the official headquarters of the conference, hosting all of the educational sessions and most of the meal and networking elements of the meeting. It was the first casino hotel to open in Atlantic City, back in 1978. It has since undergone a major renovation, including the addition of the spectacular Margaritaville entertainment complex, which opened over Memorial Day Weekend.
Resorts Casino Hotel is situated on 11 acres of land with approximately 310 feet of Boardwalk frontage overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Resorts offers guests 942 hotel rooms and suites in two hotel towers: the oceanfront 15-story Ocean Tower, and the magnificent showpiece, the new $125 million, 27-story luxury Rendezvous Tower, which will provide the ING accommodations.
Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club, Atlantic City Country Club and Ron Jaworski’s Blue Heron Pines will host the golf functions.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITORS
Here is a summary of four of the early commitments for Exhibiting Companies.
TaylorMade Golf – TaylorMade pioneered the metalwood, an alternative to persimmon that was so easy to hit that amateurs embraced it and tour professionals couldn’t ignore it. Ever since then TaylorMade has been golf’s leader in technology, engineering golf clubs that meet the specific needs of all types of golfers. The SLDR driver won the Product Ingenuity-Market Leaders category of the 2013 ING Industry Honors.
SNAG Golf – SNAG is a player friendly, first touch development program designed for both children and adults. SNAG incorporates developmentally appropriate equipment that will allow golf to be learned and played in non-traditional venues such as on a soccer field, in a gym, or on the beach. In 2013, SNAG launched the new Jack Nicklaus Learning Leagues in partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association.
Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday – Myrtle Beach, SC, is considered by many the most popular golf destination in America. The Grand Strand is home to over 100 courses, 13 of which are on Golf Digest’s Top 100 Public Courses. A wide variety of accommodation choices, dozens of excellent restaurants and night life for every interest combine to make this a great place for a golf vacation. Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday is the marketing arm for golf in the area, and also conducts several major golf tournaments annually, including the Myrtle Beach World Amateur in August.
Golfpac Travel – With over 35 years’ experience, Golfpac provides custom golf packages, vacations, and discount travel specials to over 40 golf destinations.
