Fujikura Golf Shafts Were Played By Winners Of PGA And LPGA Events

March 4, 2014

(Vista, CA – March 3, 2014) – Fujikura shafts were played by both the PGA and LPGA Winners over the weekend.

The Honda Classic winner used a Fujikura Rombax P95 in his Nike Covert VRS 15 and 19 degree fairway clubs.

The HSBC Women’s Championship winner used a Fujikura Motore Speeder 6.0 S flex in her TaylorMade RBZ 15 and 19 degree fairway clubs.

John Hovis, Fujikura’s Manager of Tour Technical Services, commented on the winning shafts and why getting fit for the right shaft is often the most valuable competitive advantage that any golfer can have. “The Rombax p95 and the Motore Speeder 6.0 are both a softer to medium tip shaft that make it easier to get the ball in the air, provide higher peak trajectory and come down soft. These characteristics are just some of the benefits that players are actively seeking when they are fit to these particular models.”

Both of these tour winning shafts can be found at a Fujikura certified dealer. The Rombax may be hard to find, so Fujikura recommends getting fit into the Motore Speeder 6.0, 7.0 or 8.0 for similar benefits and feel attributes. www.FujikuraGolf.com/dealerlocator

The buzz surrounding Fujikura golf shafts is only growing with the release of the NEW Speeder 757 and another surprise launch at the PGA Merchandising Show at the end of January, where the company unveiled the Fujikura PRO shaft.

The Speeder brand has maintained a reputation of being the “winningest shaft” on and off the Tour for nearly two decades and Fujikura’s recent marketing efforts have done a great job of capturing the winning spirit and pride of all those players that have chosen to play Fujikura. A bold headline that reads, “It’s By Choice, Not By Check” speaks to the respectable fact that Fujikura Golf does not pay players to use their products. Additionally, the company has launched an appreciation campaign that gives their “Fujikura Loyalists” opportunities to share their favorite Fujikura golf moments for a chance to win tickets to each of the Majors and other one-of-a-kind prizes such as custom, hand-painted limited edition shafts themed around each Major.
