Simpson will retire on March 14th after 23 years of leadership. Simpson has been instrumental in the growth of UST Mamiya with the introduction of the original PROFORCE GOLD wood shaft to the current Recoil iron shaft, both industry changing products.
In his new role, Drury will manage all aspects of UST Mamiya’s operations and lead the pursuit of becoming the #1 carbon fiber shaft company in the world. Drury will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations and ensuring companywide alignment and competitive strategies to enhance market position. Drury brings over 30 years of Senior Management at technology and golf companies, including Ben Hogan Company to his new role. Drury received his BBA in Accounting at Boise State University and began his career as a CPA with an international accounting firm.
