(VIENNA, VA) – 1757 Golf Club – located in Sterling, VA and managed by Billy Casper Golf (BCG), owner-operator of golf courses, country clubs and resorts with the largest domestic portfolio – will host a “Divas on the Green” event on Wednesday, April 30.
The unique, four hour-plus experience promoting women’s health and a healthy lifestyle centers on women in foursomes riding golf carts from hole to hole for massages, pedicures, make-up advice, perfume sampling, wine tasting, cooking tips from chefs and more.
Each Diva will receive a “swag bag” with hundreds of dollars of product samples, coupons and special benefits offered by participating service providers.
In addition to the personal activities on course, participants will be treated to a private reception and dinner. The event also includes a silent auction from which 100 percent of money raised will benefit Sister to Sister Foundation, the local non-profit organization dedicated to women’s health education and disease prevention.
“Divas on the Green is the perfect ‘non-golf’ event that takes advantage of our outdoor serenity and beautifully manicured grounds,” says Gary Huebner, General Manager of 1757 Golf Club. “It’s sure to be a fun, relaxing day of personal pampering among like-minded women who, in large part, aren’t avid golfers.”
The event maximum is 144 women, registration is at www.divasonthegreen.com and those who register before March 31, 2014 and in foursomes save $50.
Organizers of the Divas on the Green Expo are also planning a Health Expo at 1757 on April 30. Open to the public and free of charge, local business professionals will offer health-related products and services, including free screenings to help make individuals become aware of health risks related to unhealthy living and lifestyles.
Divas on the Green is produced by Plan Ahead Events in cooperation with Auction Frogs.
