Intermediate and advanced players invited to learn major champion’s ‘winning approach’ in fun, supportive environment
(ORLANDO, Fla.) – The ANNIKA Academy – Hall-of-Fame golfer Annika Sorenstam’s boutique golf instruction and fitness school – announces registration has begun for its 2014 Summer Junior Golf Camps.
Four week-long sessions are scheduled: June 16-20, June 23-27, July 7-11 and July 28-August 1. All will take place at the Academy’s state-of-the-art facility at Reunion Resort and be led by Annika’s hand-picked instruction team. As an added bonus, the June 23-27 session will include a special lunch, clinic, photo and autograph session with Annika.
“Our camps continue to grow in popularity, allowing us to inspire more recreational and competitive junior golfers with each passing year,” says Mike Pryor, Director of Golf at the ANNIKA Academy. “Join us this summer to improve your game in a fun, supportive environment that’s unmatched by any other golf academy.”
To ensure instruction is tailored to campers’ skill sets, programs will be offered for Advanced (12 handicap or lower) and Intermediate players. Both will offer full-swing and short-game coaching, a rules and etiquette seminar, on-course instruction, exercise tips and closing awards ceremony.
The Advanced program will also feature video swing analysis, club check-ups in the Callaway Performance Center, “how to practice” tips, course management advice, fitness and nutrition training, lunch each day and a nine-hole tournament.
Rates begin at $750 (Intermediate) and $1,500 (Advanced) per camper.
