BELLEVUE, Wash. (Mar 18, 2014) – Boxgroove (www.boxgroove.com), an inventive, reliable online network offering golfers the opportunity to play private golf courses of their choosing, now includes Miami Valley Country Club in Dayton, Ohio in the ever-growing portfolio of venues that Boxgroove members can play. For private club members, Boxgroove makes traditional reciprocity easier for you when you travel. Instead of having to ask your Head Golf Professional to make numerous phone calls and then play the waiting game, you can complete the entire reciprocal tee time process online-simple and convenient. For those that don’t belong to a private club, Boxgroove provides a “member for the day” experience at hundreds of private clubs.
“We are proud to have a classic like Miami Valley Golf Club join the Boxgroove community,” says McRedmond Morelli, founder and CEO of Boxgroove. “An incomparable design by Donald Ross that hosted the 1931 Western Open and the 1957 PGA Championship awaits the Boxgroove golfer who travels to the Dayton area.
“We are very fortunate to share this historic club with our golf community and golfers should make time to visit when in the area.”
Doug Wade, the Head Golf Professional at Miami Valley says the decision to join the Boxgroove network was, in part, “to add another dimension to the value of our memberships.
“We have many members that go south in the winter and this should help them be able to access some clubs they otherwise wouldn’t be able to. We also feel like this gives us a way to attract people from far away to come and see our great Club that maybe normally wouldn’t know anything about us. It never hurts to have a little extra income from a source that normally wasn’t ever really there.”
