Boulder, Colo. (March 24, 2014) – The winner of the Arnold Palmer Invitational earned his first PGA Tour win on Sunday after switching into KBS just two weeks ago. This player trusts the KBS TOUR-V 125g shaft in his irons.
“To have this player earn his first PGA Tour win almost immediately after switching into the TOUR-V is phenomenal,” said Rob Cheng, CEO of KBS Golf Shafts. “We couldn’t be happier and look forward to supporting him throughout the season.”
The champion finished at 13-under at Bay Hill, one shot ahead of the runner-up. This player turned to the KBS TOUR-V shaft after the Honda Classic, which is the newest shaft in the KBS product line. The TOUR-V quickly gained traction on Tour since its release in 2013 and is also the winning shaft of the 2013 Open Championship.
The 2013 Masters champion, who has played the KBS TOUR since 2009, finished third in the tournament.
