Pair of industry veterans to provide golf and food and beverage operations expertise
NORTHBROOK, Ill., April 16, 2014 – KemperSports announced today that it has appointed Mark Mattingly and David Kupstas as regional operating executives in the east region. Mattingly will oversee operations at KemperSports properties in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee – Kupstas will oversee food and beverage in the east region as well as supervise several private club operations.
Mark Mattingly returns to KemperSports where he held several key roles within the organization during his five-year tenure, including serving as general manager at Eagle Knoll Golf Club, Shoal Creek and Hodge Park. He was named the KemperSports’ general manager of the year in 2002.
He joins the KemperSports team after spending five years as a regional director of sales in the golf division of Mulligan Marketing Concepts and most recently as Midwest regional operations manager with Landscapes Unlimited.
David Kupstas joins KemperSports with more than 30 years of food and beverage and private club experience with Club Corporation. In addition to delivering food and beverage counsel to properties in the east region, he’ll also manage KemperSports’ national relationship with the company’s food and beverage providers.
