Dustin Johnson’s coach, Allen Terrell, offers programs designed for 6-12 year olds

Myrtle Beach, S.C. (April 22, 2014) – Allen Terrell-who has worked with PGA Tour superstar Dustin Johnson since his college days and runs the Dustin Johnson Golf School in Myrtle Beach-will lead two sessions of the highly acclaimed US Kids Golf Camp this summer.

From June 16-19 and July 14-17, Terrell’s teaching center at the TPC of Myrtle Beach will welcome boys and girls ages 6-12 who want to learn the game or improve their skills. During the four-day sessions, each participant will receive 12 hours of group instruction, a USKG Learning Program booklet, achievement pins, and hat.

Terrell has years of success working with junior golfers at all levels, from beginners all the way up through college players. He knows the importance of getting the right start in the game.

“I’m a strong believer in the skills and attitudes that the US Kids Golf Camps teach these new, young golfers,” Terrell says. “Their fundamentals mirror what I’ve been teaching kids for years, and I’m excited to work within the USKG program and help introduce the game to a new generation.”

This year, USKG Camps like Terrell’s will offer two different levels of instruction. In Level 1, students play games and sharpen their skills in all aspects of the game. Campers are grouped by age and for three hours a day for four days work toward meeting the Level 1 nine-hole score goal of 72 (from 1,500 yards or more).

The Level 2 Camp, for those who’ve already completed Level 1, continues development of skills on and around the green, full swing, and golf knowledge. As in Level 1, campers are grouped by age and will spend three hours a day for four days with a score goal of 63 for nine holes (from 1,500 yards or longer). Both Level 1 and Level 2 students also will participate in on-course scrambles, skills testing, daily reviews, and other lessons.

Each four-day session is $199 per student, with siblings of camp registrants eligible for a $25 discount. For more information on the US Kids Camps as well as registration, go to uskidsgolf.com.
