Westwood clinched his 41st worldwide title finishing at 18-under-par 270 at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club. He led the tournament from start to finish with fellow Old Palm resident, Louis Oosthuizen, Nicolas Colsaerts and Bernd Weisberger sharing second place at 11 under.
“It’s a golf course that suits my game; it’s very tight in certain areas. I played well, I putted well, and the short game is good,” says Westwood. “All the hard work I’ve been doing at Old Palm’s Golf Studio is really starting to pay off as the heart of the 2014 schedule approaches.”
