Online retailer www.mortongolfsales.com, the online arm of America’s most-awarded and renowned on-course golf shop, Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop, has agreed to become the exclusive online retailer for the American FootGolf League.

MortonGolfSales.com, a leading on-course online retailer of name-brand and gift golf products, has entered into an agreement with the American FootGolf League to expand the online availability of FootGolf merchandise to FootGolfers around the United States and beyond. New merchandise will concentrate on items inclusive of the official FootGolf uniform. Typical wear is a flat (Hogan style) cap, collared shirt, golf style pants, knickers or shorts, knee high argyle socks and indoor or turf soccer shoes.

“We have been a proud partner of the AFGL since we started our own FootGolf course this past July and we are thrilled that we are able to partner with them on this new initiative,” said Mike Woods, Director of Golf at Haggin Oaks. “Their growing and diverse player profile is an ideal fit for our extensive inventory of high-quality products, and we are pleased and proud to be their online partner of choice.”

The FootGolf Course at Haggin Oaks was the fifth of its kind in the United States in July of 2013 and the first to be built in sequence with the regular golf hole progression. Nearly 1,000 FootGolf rounds have been played monthly since that time. A second FootGolf course has been built at the facility and will be opening later this spring.

Founded in 2011, the American FootGolf League is the official member of the Federation for International FootGolf and governing body for the sport of FootGolf in the USA. FootGolf is a combination of the popular sports of soccer and golf. The game is played with a regulation #5 soccer ball at a golf course facility on shortened holes with 21-inch diameter cups. The rules largely correspond to the rules of golf. FootGolf as a game is played throughout the world in many different forms, but as a sport, it is regulated by the Federation for International FootGolf (FIFG). The AFGL is organizing tournaments throughout the country working with golf courses to bring FootGolf to their clubs as another avenue for revenue and to develop the game further.
