Golfstix Value Guide, a golf club trade-in and inventory-management resource to more than 2,000 U.S. golf professionals and golf courses, this month launched a new version of its website with an expanded trade-in program and new ways to find club values on the go.

The one-of-a-kind interface allows golf professionals and golf shop managers to instantly sell and get prepaid for more 8,000 club models as well as apparel, shoes, balls and other shop merchandise – even items that have course-specific logos. Combined with some of the highest golf club trade-in values in the industry, this service caters to thousands of golf facilities, including 20 of the top 100 courses in the United States.

One of the golfstixvalueguide.com’s new features is the Personalized Trade App, which allows golf professionals to customize an online trade-in program specifically for their golf course and club members, increasing customer loyalty and shop sales at no additional cost.

Another new feature, the Photo Quote Service allows mobile users to take a picture of any golf club and send it to the Photo Quote Hotline, where an accurate club value is provided within minutes.

“My best find at the [2014 PGA Merchandise Show] was a company called Golfstix,” said Ron Rawls, honorary president of the Rocky Mountain PGA Section and head pro at Crane Creek Country Club. “I foresee Golfstix becoming an integral part of my day-to-day operations at the club.”

To ensure that its services meet the needs of golf professionals and are the fastest and easiest way to sell inventory, Golfstix has assembled a board of advisors that includes former National PGA Golf Professionals of the Year Mike Schultz, formerly of Hazeltine National Golf Club, and Jock Olson, formerly of Interlachen Country Club.

“Our partners at Golfstix are well-informed, gave us top value for our trades with quick payment and with an ease of shipping,” says Schultz. “If you want to run a more cost-efficient golf equipment operation I suggest you visit with your friends and partners at Golfstix.”
