Portland, Ore. (April 24, 2014) – Golf Media Network (GMN), parent company of The A Position has appointed Jim Whittemore as its first Chief Operating Officer, Director of Sales. Whittemore will be responsible for promoting GMN’s portfolio of media offerings including The A Position.com; Golf Road Warriors (an integrated multi-platform travel program); and The Grain, an electronic magazine distributed to more than 2 million readers seven times per year.
Whittemore comes to Golf Media Network most recently from his role as National Sales Director for Global Golf Post, where he worked for five years. He is also president of The Whittemore Group, which has provided management, sales, marketing and media related services to top clients in the golf industry.
