Ted Gleason, who was formerly the head men’s golf coach at the University of Southern California and now runs The Road to College Golf will be giving a keynote talk at this year’s FCG World Championship presented by COBRA PUMA GOLF. With the FCG World Championship being hosted at PGA West, the talk will be given on July 21st after round one, at La Quinta Resort – Fiesta Room from 4:30 to 5:00pm.
Ted Gleason was the Head Golf Coach at both the University of Southern California and Southern Methodist University and has 7 years of coaching experience at the Division I level, which includes 6 trips to the NCAA Finals with his team or an individual; one National Championship ring while serving as the assistant women’s coach at USC; 5 years of experience as a professional golfer, playing all over the world and 4 years of college golf at UCLA. Over this time he has experienced the personal and professional commitment necessary to compete at the collegiate and professional level. Now, through Road To College Golf, he will continue to lead, motivate, challenge and direct the next generation of golfers through the college placement process.
“The Road to College Golf provides counsel for junior golfers and their families in identifying a “best fit” college(s) and assists them in navigating the world of junior golf. The Road to College Golf also mentors junior golfers in developing life and golf skill sets in their pursuit to play college golf.”
