WIXOM, Mich. – If you watched golf this weekend, there was a very good chance you saw a SuperStroke grip on the winner’s putter. That’s because four different champions trusted SuperStroke’s patented parallel technology to help them win their tournaments.
At the TPC Louisiana in Avondale, the winner picked up his first victory on tour playing SuperStroke’s Mid Slim 2.0 grip on his new putter. He finished with a 19-under-par 269 to win by two strokes. He finished the tournament in 7th place in Putts Per Greens In Regulation with an average of 1.625. He was 11th in Strokes Gained Putting with a 1.063 gaining more than one stroke on the field’s average each round. He switched to his SuperStroke grip just over a month ago.
The winner at the Genzon Golf Club in Shenzhen, China, played SuperStroke’s 17-inch grip as a counterbalance option. He finished the tournament in third place in Putts Per Greens In Regulation with an average of 1.64. He was fourth in Putts Per Round with an average of 28.3.
Playing the Odyssey Tank Cruiser putter with SuperStroke’s Mid Slim 2.0 grip, the winner at the Lake Merced Golf Club in San Francisco finished the ladies’ tournament with a 12-under-par 276 for a one-stroke victory. She uses a 15-gram weight in the butt end of her SuperStroke grip for counter balancing.
SuperStroke worked with Odyssey to design a 15-inch grip that has an adjustable weight plug in the butt end of the grip. This allows golfers to add 5 grams, 15 grams or 30 grams to the grip, depending on the player’s stroke and weight preferences.
At the Royale Jakarta Golf Club in Jakarta, the winner made an eagle putt on the final hole playing SuperStroke’s Ultra Slim 1.0 putter grip en route to a one-stroke victory.
“Knowing that each of these champions relied on SuperStroke as their grip of choice is an honor and ultimate demonstration of the superior performance of our grips, said Jon Luna, SuperStroke USA Marketing Director. “Professionals and consumers are continuing to discover how our grips are designed to ‘make any putter better.'”
SuperStroke’s patented parallel technology design allows for even pressure in both hands, while eliminating added tension in the wrist and forearms. This helps the golfer’s arms swing more freely, which further enhances a pendulum-putting stroke.
SuperStroke (www.superstrokeusa.com) grips are long lasting and extremely shock absorbent. They are designed with a high-tech polyurethane material featuring cross traction technology that improves feel and tackiness. Combined with SuperStroke’s patented parallel technology further increases consistency and lowers scores for every level of golfer, even professionals.
