Schlake began his software career by forming ClubSoft in 1997 in Kansas City. It was one of the first dealerships of the Jonas Club Management System west of the Mississippi. He grew that dealership into one of the largest dealers/distributors for the company. In 2005, Schlake transitioned ClubSoft successfully into a development company offering technology needs to private clubs. Then, in 2012, Schlake formed MobileSoft as a new company that specializes in Mobile technologies.
