Four players place in top 5, eight in top 10 of three tournaments
WIXOM, Mich. – SuperStroke’s patented parallel technology continues to help players reach the top of the leaderboards and maintain the top positions of the putting categories in tournaments across the tours.
After four wins for SuperStroke last week, four more players playing their putter grips this week finished in the Top 5 and a total of eight landed in the Top 10 at tour events in North Carolina, Texas and Singapore.

At the Quail Hollow Golf Club tournament in Charlotte, N.C., the 3rd place finisher played SuperStroke’s Slim 3.0 putter grip and finished second overall in Putts Per Greens In Regulation with a tournament average of 1.558. The overall tournament leader in the Strokes Gained-Putting category finished the event tied for sixth place playing the Odyssey Tank putter with SuperStroke’s Mid Slim 2.0 grip.
“SuperStroke worked with Odyssey to design a 15-inch grip that has an adjustable weight plug in the butt end of the grip,” said Luna. “This allows golfers to add 5 grams, 15 grams or 30 grams to the grip, depending on the player’s stroke and weight preferences for counterbalancing.”
The current overall leader in Strokes Gained-Putting on the tour plays SuperStroke’s Flatso Ultra. He leads with an average of 1.055 and a total of 37.996 putts gained for the season. The Strokes Gained-Putting stat measures a player’s putting performance relative to his fellow competitors in a tournament. The third place player in Strokes Gained-Putting plays SuperStroke’s Mid Slim 2.0 and has a season average of .994 and a total of 37.784 strokes gained.
At the Woodlands Country Club tournament in Texas, the second and third place finishers used SuperStroke’s putter grips to finish the tour event ranked first and second overall in Putts Per Greens In Regulation. Using SuperStroke’s 21-inch belly putter grip, the second place finisher closed out the Texas tournament in the top spot for Putts Per Greens In Regulation with an average of 1.643. The third place finisher averaged 1.684 Putts Per GIR playing SuperStroke’s Slim 3.0 grip.
At the Laguna National Golf and Country Club in Singapore, SuperStroke players finished in fourth place and a tie for sixth place respectively. Playing SuperStroke’s Slim 3.0 putter grip, the fourth place finisher ranked fifth overall in Putts Per Greens in Regulation for the tournament with an average of 1.615 and fifth in Putts Per Round finishing the tournament with an average of 26.8 putts per round.
