Officials of the United States Senior Two-Man Championship announced that the inaugural seasons Championship Final event will be played at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
Local qualifying for the Senior Two-Man will take place at golf courses and clubs throughout the east coast with ten Regional qualifiers scheduled in September. The Final Championship event will be held on the Old White TPC course, host site for the annual PGA TOUR Greenbrier Classic, on October 8th and 9th.
National Tournament Coordinator Trudi Mank said that the new event seeks to fill a need for more serious senior golfers to have the opportunity to compete in a best ball format with handicaps limited to a maximum of 9 strokes.
Tournament Founder Rick McCormick described the tournament as “a national championship for the serious senior player.” He invited senior players to “grab your partner and register at a course near you and maybe you will crowned as champions in October!”
