Golfers can now share customized photos from their round, compare stats with friends and pros, and break down Tiger and Rory’s swings
BEAVERTON, Ore. (May 8, 2014) – Nike Golf’s newest NG360 app update makes it easier than ever for golfers to share and compete with friends and other golfers around the world.
The NG360 app inspires, motivates and enables golfers to improve their game through a variety of digital tools available on any iOS mobile device. The app provides score and stat tracking, Nike+ friend leaderboards, swing analysis and gear recommendations, and with the latest updates, users can now share customized photos; analyze slow motion swing videos from Nike Athletes Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy; and see how they stack up against friends and Nike Golf Athletes with new Levels and Comparisons tools.
Customized Photo Sharing
Golfers can capture their round with a photo, upload the image from an iOS device, tag location and friends, and customize with an overlay that includes stats, scores, personal bests and “trophies.”
Learn From the Best
NG360 now enables golfers to break down Tiger and Rory’s swings with frame-by-frame slow-motion analysis.
Levels and Comparisons
Two additional features with the NG360 update, Levels and Comparisons, allow users to measure their performance in a variety of categories against other golfers and Nike Athletes. With the Levels tool, users can see how they stack up across scoring average, greens in regulation and putts per round to help pinpoint areas for improvement in their game.
The NG360 updates for iOS devices are available in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Sweden, Scotland and Germany. The app is available for free on the App Store on iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch or at www.iTunes.com/appstore.
The NG360 app will be available for Android devices in summer 2014.
