Golfing diehards will be challenged to play 63 holes in one day.
Gaylord, MI – How many different golf courses have you played in one day? Two, three, more? Treetops Resort invites golfing diehards for the first time to face the challenge of “Man vs Golf.”
Taking a play on the popular “Man vs Food” reality television show, Treetops is offering “Man vs Golf” by inviting passionate golfers to take the challenge of playing four golf courses in one day at the popular Treetops North complex.
Treetops Resort is the perfect destination for such a challenge, too. First, there is the unique advantage of having four golf courses operating out of one golf shop. And second, the resort’s location in northern Michigan near the 45th Parallel and on the western edge of the Eastern Time zone allows golfers to tee-off early in the morning and golf until 9:45 p.m. or later during the summer months.
Recommended for golfing diehards, the challenge will feature play on some of the top golf courses in the country including the Tom Fazio Premier, Michigan’s only Fazio design, the Rick Smith Signature, the Rick Smith Tradition and the popular Threetops Par 3 course, site of the famous ESPN Par 3 Shoot-out.
Golfers who complete this challenge will be recognized by the resort on a plaque in the golf shop, receive a commemorative Treetops gift and also be registered to win a golf vacation package in 2015.
The cost of this challenge, which calls for 63 great holes of golf in one day, starts at $149 depending on the time of year it is booked. Golfers can add a room to the package for $89.
