Jason Dufner, seven other SuperStroke players finish in Top 5 across four tours
WIXOM, Mich. – The winner of the season’s second major championship in golf’s senior division cruised to his first major title with the help of SuperStroke’s 15-inch Mid Slim 2.0 grip on his Odyssey Tank Cruiser putter. He won by four strokes and was the only player in the tournament to shoot all four rounds in the 60s (69-69-68-65). He ranks first in Putts Per Round in the senior division with an average of 27.95 and is ranked fourth in Putting Average with a 1.718 average.
“To capture another major championship is quite and honor for us,” said Dean Dingman, President SuperStroke Golf. “It’s gratifying to see that when the best golfers are vying for a major title that they rely on SuperStroke.”
SuperStroke worked with Odyssey to design a 15-inch grip that has an adjustable weight plug in the butt end of the grip.
“This specific SuperStroke model allows golfers to add 5 grams, 15 grams or 30 grams to the grip, depending on the player’s stroke and weight preferences for counterbalancing,” said Jon Luna, SuperStroke USA Marketing Director.
Playing SuperStroke’s 17-inch Slim 3.0 grip, Jason Dufner finished second to the world’s number one player after the two battled in three holes of sudden-death playoff golf at the Forth Worth tournament. Dufner drained an 18-foot birdie putt on the final hole of regulation to set up the two-man playoff. It marked Dufner’s best finish so far in the 2014 wrap-around season.
In total, SuperStroke had eight players finish in the Top 5 across four professional tours this week. In addition to the win on the senior tour and Dufner’s second place finish in Texas, SuperStroke finished tied for third and tied for fifth in Fort Worth. In the Raleigh, N.C., tournament SuperStroke grips helped two golfers finish tied for fourth place. One played SuperStroke’s Mid Slim 2.0 model and finished the tournament ranked first in Putts Per GIR with an average of 1.618.
At the Wentworth Club in Surrey, England, two more SuperStroke golfers finished in the Top 5. One tied for third and the other tied for fifth in their tournament. The third place finisher ranked seventh in Putts Per GIR with an average of 1.639 for the tournament.
SuperStroke’s patented parallel technology design allows for even pressure in both hands, while eliminating added tension in the wrist and forearms. This helps the golfer’s arms swing more freely, which further enhances a pendulum-putting stroke.

They are designed with a high-tech polyurethane material featuring cross traction technology that improves feel and tackiness.
