Patented parallel technology increases consistency, lowers scores
WIXOM, Mich. – Each week more and more players continue to reap the benefits of SuperStroke’s patented parallel technology on the men’s and women’s professional tours as well as collegiate golf. After helping capture another major championship a week ago, three players posted second place finishes and 10 others finished in the Top 25 across three professional tours this week.
SuperStroke also took center stage in collegiate golf as the winning eagle putt on the 17th hole at the 2014 NCAA Men’s Division 1 Championships was made with the help of SuperStroke’s Mid Slim 2.0 grip. The win gave the University of Alabama back-to-back national titles in men’s golf.
Playing SuperStroke’s 15-inch Mid Slim 2.0 grip on her Odyssey Putter, the second place finisher at the tournament in New Jersey posted her best finish in four years. She finished the tournament with an average of just over 28 putts per round.
“The Mid Slim 2.0 came from tour players requesting a size between the Ultra Slim 1.0 and the Tour favorite Slim 3.0,” said Jon Luna, SuperStroke USA Marketing Director. “The Mid Slim 2.0 is currently in-play on every major professional golf tour worldwide.”
Using SuperStroke’s Flatso Ultra Jordan Spieth ranks third overall on the tour in Putting Average with a 1.714 average. He ranks fourth overall in Putts Per Round with an average of 28.02 and is fourth in Overall Putting Average with a 1.556 average.
Three of the Top 10 players in Strokes Gained Putting (2nd, 7th, 10th) on the men’s pro tour all play SuperStroke grips. The second place player uses SuperStroke’s Flatso Ultra and has an overall average of .962 Strokes Gained Putting. So far this season he has gained 48.550 total putts. The Strokes Gained Putting stat measures a player’s putting performance relative to his fellow competitors in a tournament and is believed to be the most accurate, meaningful way to present player putting efficiency.
