Just in time for Father’s Day, new shaft is one more customizable feature
(Flagler Beach, FL) – What makes the Cure Putter RX line from Veritas Golf Company special in the first place is its inherent customization to each and every player using the club. Now, based on feedback from professional players on the PGA Tour, Champions Tour and LPGA Tour, Veritas Golf Company has added an offset shaft to its increasing menu of customizable options with its RX line of putters.
The Cure RX1 and RX2 putters are unique because of the full array of adjustable features, including lie angle, the ability to change the shaft from right handed to left handed with just the turn of a screw, and adjustable weighting. Cure Putters were originally designed as straight, center shafted putters. The offset shaft adds one more dimension to a truly personalized and customized club fitting experience.
Said inventor Steve Davis, “The offset shaft appears to be a more comfortable way for many players to address the ball. The straight center shaft has its advantages, and that is still an option for those who favor it, but we’ve heard from so many people that an offset shaft is important that we wanted to make it happen and happen now.”
The offset shaft is available today on the Cure Putters website (www.cureputters.com), as well as green grass shops and retailers who are selling the Cure Putter line. Another unique attribute of the Cure Putter line is the reseller does not have to stock putters with a straight shaft and also those with an offset shaft. Because the shafts are interchangeable, they simply carry the putter heads and a variety of shafts. The player can decide preferences for him or her self by simply testing the different options, and once the desired shaft is selected the customer is ready to go.
CEO James McCarthy added, “We are on the greens at Champions Tour and PGA TOUR events and the feedback has been consistent: ‘we love this putter, but we need an offset shaft.'” He continued, “We receive similar feedback from our amateur players who are buying this putter, so we wanted to make the offset shaft available as an option. If we are in the business of creating confidence on the greens, and the offset shaft helps a segment of the market while they are standing over the ball, then we are going to make an offset shaft. It’s done and on the shelves today.”
Founded by PGA of America professional, Jeff Ryan, and partner Steve Davis, an architect with a scratch handicap, the Veritas Golf Company has invented what former PGA TOUR Commissioner Deane Beman has called “the most technologically advanced putters ever made.” Mr. Beman was so impressed he joined the company and he has collaborated with Mr. Davis and has become a part owner in the business.
The first putter invented by Davis, the Cure RX1 Putter, represented a breakthrough in putter engineering. Based on the highest MOI design in the industry and adjustable lie angles, and adjustable weighting, Beman says “the RX1 made other putters obsolete.”
Beman and Davis took that science-based philosophy one step further to develop the revolutionary Cure RX2 Putter, which incorporates the eye-popping triangulation alignment system developed by Beman. This stunning new putter is simply easier to align than traditional linear alignment putters. The ball forms the “point” of a triangle with the two alignment discs on the heel and toe of the putter. This triangle can be easily, naturally and dependably aimed on the line of the putt. Combined with all the features of the RX1, the Cure RX2 Putter Triangulation Alignment system is the cure for misalignment.
Beman says, “The Cure RX Putters are the best feeling and most technically advanced putters ever made. The Cure RX2 Putter is simply the best prescription available.”
About Veritas Golf Company: Veritas Golf is a science-based manufacturer of great putters, thinking outside the box and producing innovative golf equipment that is “Engineered To Inspire Confidence.” Veritas means “Truth” in Latin, and Veritas Golf is committed to game-improving equipment through better engineering. A famous architect, Louis Sullivan, coined the phrase “form follows function.” Veritas Golf has created a new “form” of putter based on the functional requirements of lie adjustability and increased moment of inertia. What resulted is a putting breakthrough. Cure Putters can be found on the web at cureputters.com, on Facebook at (https://www.facebook.com/VG1putter) and Twitter at (@cureputters).
