Greensboro, Ga. (June 9, 2014) – Do you have what it takes to compete on “Big Break”? Find out this summer with a limited-time package at Reynolds Plantation, the award-winning golf resort community located between Atlanta and Augusta and host to this fall’s “Big Break Invitational, Reynolds Plantation.”
The first-ever Big Break Invitational, a four-day tournament featuring previous stars from Golf Channel’s exciting golf reality show, is coming to Reynolds Plantation September 30-October 3. Tournament play will air live on Golf Channel, as the players contend for a share of a $300,000 total purse. In celebration of this special event, Reynolds Plantation is inviting golfers to take advantage of a summer-long opportunity to play the tournament’s host course, try some of the famous “Big Break” skills challenges and return in the fall to watch the competition.
Available mid-June through September, the Big Break Invitational Experience package begins with a round of golf on the Jack Nicklaus-designed Great Waters course-host course of the tournament – or any of Reynolds Plantation’s other four award-winning layouts. Then enjoy an additional 18 holes with complimentary same-day replay on the same course.
Most Friday nights this summer, guests may also participate in the exclusive Big Break Invitational Skills Challenge. Try your luck at some of the same tests of skill previously featured on the Big Break, while competing for daily prizes and a chance to win a spot in the Big Break Invitational pro-am on September 29. This exclusive package also features two four-day grounds admission badges to the Invitational (Spt. 30 – Oct 3), and a limited-edition welcome gift featuring the Big Break Invitational logo.
Additional package components include:
• Deluxe accommodations in a Reynolds Plantation cottage or condominium
• Full Southern-style breakfast daily at the Plantation Clubhouse
• Use of golf practice facilities
• Additional round of golf on the day of arrival or day of departure may be added for the discounted rate of $99 per person
