BOULDER, Colo. (June 23, 2014) — In his first tournament as a professional, the winner of the Air Capital Classic and KBS player kept his composure to finish 18-under 262 for the weekend. The 24-year old is the first Danish player to win on the Web.com Tour.
The champion switched into KBS this season and plays the TOUR 130g (X flex) shafts in his irons. He was a Monday qualifier and became the second player in that position to win the Air Capital Classic.
“To have a Monday Qualifier come in and trust KBS shows the vast adoption we’ve had across all professional tours,” said Rob Cheng, CEO of KBS Golf Shafts. “We’re thrilled that he could seal his first Web.com victory with the KBS TOUR in his bag.”
The KBS TOUR shaft provides players with shot versatility and control, and has proven to be one of the most successful shafts on Tour. It provides a mid level ball flight, mid spin and a smooth, responsive feel.
This win in Wichita marks the second in row on the Web.com Tour for the KBS brand. The first place finisher at the Cleveland Open played the C-TAPER LITE 115g (X flex) shafts in his irons.
