The winner played a pair of Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 8.8 TS’ in her hybrids on her way to her first major championship. Other notable stats: 11 players using Fujikura shafts in the Top-20, including 5 driver shafts.
At TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, CT, two new Fujikura PRO shafts go into play. Fujikura was in the bag of 8 players in the Top-20, including 5 driver shafts in the Top-11. One of the players used a Fujikura PRO 73 X in his driver, and Motore Speeder VC 7.0, 8.2, and 8.8 in his woods on his way to his first Top-5 of 2014.
