(SHELTON, Wash.) – Salish Cliffs Golf Club (www.salish-cliffs.com) – the award-winning amenity course at Little Creek Casino Resort – announces multiple instructional programs taught by PGA Professionals.

Designed for golfers of all skill levels and offering both one-on-one and small group instruction, the following programs are available throughout the 2014 golf season. All of the below require advance reservations by calling the Golf Shop at 360.462.3673:

• Short Game School: Taking advantage of the short game practice area at Salish Cliffs, this program teaches the fundamentals of golf’s most overlooked skill set. Participants receive four hours of instruction, lunch with their pro instructor, a wedge fitting and a custom fit Vokey wedge. Cost is $300 per student. Lessons run daily between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., based on availability.

• Express Playing Lessons: The focus is individual instruction as a PGA Professional accompanies the student for four holes, identifies strengths and weaknesses, and develops a game plan for applying practice techniques to course play. Each session is $130, based on availability.

• Salish Cliffs Coaching Club: Students meet once a week for one month in a fun and relaxed group setting. Ideal for beginners or weekend warriors, lessons are Fridays 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. or Sundays 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. through October. Cost is $50 per person, per month, or $175 for four months.

“These instructional programs offer a great mix of personalized instruction and affordability,” said Salish Cliffs Head Professional David Kass, PGA. “Taking advantage of our on-site practice areas, award-winning golf course and PGA Professionals provides added value as our guests look to improve their game in between rounds.”

Owned and operated by the Squaxin Island Tribe, Salish Cliffs Golf Club has collected numerous accolades from national publications since opening in 2011. It was recently ranked the No. 3 course in Washington by Golfweek. In addition, Salish Cliffs has earned top-10 status on Golf Digest’s biennial “America’s Greatest Courses” by state list and Golfweek’s “Best Casino Courses” list.
