El Dorado Hills, Calif. (June 30, 2014) – Pascuzzo & Pate Golf Course Design has appointed Robert W. Linn as Director of Business Operations. The innovative golf course architectural firm provides strategic master planning, design and renovation services to a worldwide client base.

Linn has long-standing relationships within the golf club industry and an extensive career in corporate operations management, including sales, marketing and communications. His primary focus will be business development for partners Damian Pascuzzo and Steve Pate. Based in Los Angeles, Linn has served as general manager of several successful country clubs, and was honored by American Golf Corporation as General Manager of the Year.

Pascuzzo worked alongside famed architect Robert Muir Graves and was his principal designer for over a decade. Pascuzzo & Pate established their company in 2006 and specialize in sustainable golf courses with distinctive character. Pate is a six-time winner on the PGA TOUR, a member of the 1991 and 1999 Ryder Cup teams and currently is playing regularly on the Champions Tour.

In a relatively brief period, Pascuzzo & Pate has risen to the upper echelon of golf course architectural teams. The duo has cultivated a creative, unique design portfolio for an array of clients in the public and private sectors including master plans for full golf club operations and innovative par-3 Challenge Courses.

Pascuzzo & Pate also renovated both golf courses at the famed Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., recent host of the prestigious California State Amateur Championship, and have directed the modification program at Big Canyon Country Club in Newport Beach, Calif., host of the 2014 U.S. Senior Amateur Championship. Their recent project completion list also includes the renovation of Murasaki Country Club (Japan) and The Challenge Course at SpurWing (Meridian, Idaho).
