The PGA Education Conference, held in conjunction with the 2014 PGA Fashion & Demo Experience, features certification programs, outdoor short-game instructional workshops, more than twenty classroom seminars, a full-day youth and family workshop and a special keynote industry conference. On Tuesday morning, Aug. 19, the educational offerings begin with the National Retail Federation presentation of “How Tech is Driving the Digital Experience – Learn What Retailers Are Doing Around Consumer Expectations” by Tom Litchford, vice president of retail technology for the National Retail Federation. Education registrants will learn how digital technology is having a transformative effect on retail touch-points and how to navigate the projected 65% jump in consumer mobile purchases in the next two years.
In addition to the early registration savings, single-session pricing is offered for the first time at this event along with full-conference and single-day registration. Discounted registration is available to PGA apprentices and PGA Golf Management University students. PGA Fashion & Demo Experience educational offerings are open to all attending PGA Professionals and industry executives.
