MEMPHIS, Tenn. (July 21, 2014) – The winner of the 2014 Open Championship relied on Project X to claim the Claret Jug and secure the third leg of the career Grand Slam this past weekend.
The 25-year-old champion shot 66-66-68 in the first three rounds of the tournament which gave him a six-stroke lead on the final day. Though the gap was closed to just two-strokes, the champion saved par on the final two holes to close with 1-under 71 and finish 17 under par for the week-the fourth-lowest score in the history of The Open Championship.
