DALLAS – Scott Carrier, a 23-year veteran in the golf course management industry, has joined Eagle Golf as Senior Vice President of Agronomy, announced company president and CEO Joe Munsch. This is Carrier’s second stint with the company after serving in numerous roles from 1997 through 2010.

“We’re very excited to bring Scott back to Eagle Golf,” Munsch said. “There are many important factors that lead to success in our industry, but the cornerstone of Eagle Golf has always been great golf course conditions. Scott’s experience and expertise will aid us in continuing to deliver industry-best course conditions throughout our 31 courses.”

Carrier returns to Eagle Golf after serving as VP of Agronomy for CourseCo, a northern California based management company, from 2010-14.

He began his carrier at Eagle Golf as an assistant superintendent in 1997 before being promoted to superintendent in 1999. In 2000, he was again promoted to Regional Golf Course Superintendent, a position he held for more than eight years. In 2008, he became the company-wide Director of Maintenance for Eagle Golf.

“Eagle Golf has played a significant role in my professional development and I’m thrilled to be back with the company,” Carrier said. “The future is very bright for Eagle Golf and I’m looking forward to contributing to our success.”

Carrier will work with Ed Easley, Eagle Golf’s VP of Agronomy and Construction, to oversee the management of course conditions throughout the Eagle Golf course portfolio.

Carrier is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Agronomy. He is Class A member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America and a member of the National Golf Course Owners Association.

He lives in Dallas with his wife, Kathy, and their two daughters, Claudia, 9, and Melanie, 6.

Eagle Golf has been in operation for more than 28 years. Based in Dallas, the company provides a full suite of golf course management services to 31 golf facilities across the country. More information can be found at www.eaglegolf.com.
