Alpharetta, Ga. (July 28, 2014) – Mosaic Clubs & Resorts has promoted 17-year industry veteran Gautam Patankar to vice president of operations for the nationally acclaimed club management company, according to Mosaic President Steve Willy.
Patankar, who has been with Mosaic (formerly Affiniti Golf Partners) since 2005, was most recently a regional manager overseeing operations at several clubs, including The Manor Golf & Country Club and Berkeley Hills Country Club, both located in north metro-Atlanta.
Prior to that, he was a general manager for Affiniti at Woodmont Golf & Country Club in Canton, Ga. Patankar previously held director of marketing and general manager positions at several golf courses and clubs in New Jersey and Florida.

Patankar’s vision for a country club is to transform it from being just a golf and dining venue to a true destination by adding pockets of creative programming for all ages. These value-added events take all forms and include Daddy-Daughter dances, karate camp, comedy clubs, cooking shows with the Chef and even “Dive-in-Movies” at the swimming pool.
A native of Freehold, N.J., Patankar is a graduate of Rutgers University.
