Unique parallel shape allows for even pressure in both hands, resulting in more consistent putting stroke
WIXOM, Mich. – Relying on the patented parallel technology of SuperStroke’s putter grips, four players finished in the Top 5 and eight finished in the Top 10 across three professional tours in Wales, Canada and Kansas.
At the senior major championship event at the Royal Porthcawl Golf Club in Wales, the second place finisher played SuperStroke’s 17-inch Slim putter grip. In the past three senior major championship events he has won two and finished second with the help of SuperStroke grips. He ranks fourth on the senior tour in Putts Per Round with an average of 28.58 and is ranked fifth in Overall Putting Average with a 1.278.
At the professional men’s tournament in Quebec, Canada, SuperStroke helped two players finish in the top 10. Both players were using SuperStroke’s 15-inch Mid Slim 2.0 on their Odyssey putters. The third place player finished the tournament ranked second in Putts Per Greens In Regulation with a 1.614 total. He was 11th in Strokes Gained-Putting. The ninth place finisher led the tournament in Strokes Gained Putting finishing with a total of 2.399. Since being introduced on the PGA Tour in 2011, the Strokes Gained-Putting statistic is believed by many to be the most accurate, meaningful way to present player putting efficiency. The tour leader in Strokes Gained-Putting for the season uses SuperStroke’s Flatso Ultra and has an average of .990.
At the professional tour event in Kansas, there were four players using SuperStroke grips that finished in the Top 10. The tour’s overall leader in Putting Average plays a SuperStroke putter grip and has an average of 1.703.
“The success of SuperStroke grips across the tours this year continues to prove just how much parallel technology is in demand by the world’s best players,” said Jon Luna, SuperStroke USA Marketing Director.
SuperStroke’s unique patented parallel shape allows for even pressure in both hands, while eliminating added tension in the wrist and forearms. This helps eliminate unnecessary wrist action and results in a more consistent putting stroke.
