Mitchellville, Md. (Aug. 5, 2014) – Mary Hudgins has been promoted to director of sales for The Country Club at Woodmore, the premier private club in Prince George’s County. Woodmore’s Arnold Palmer-designed championship golf course is ranked among the top ten in Maryland and the club’s full-service amenities cater to a diverse and growing membership of all ages from the
greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
Hudgins joined Concert Golf Partners, which owns Woodmore, in February 2013 as director of
catering and events. Prior to joining Woodmore, Hudgins headed Carpe Diem Event Productions
& Consulting, specializing in corporate fundraising and nonprofit events.
In 2006, Hudgins was part of the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort team that executed the biennial Curtis Cup match between teams from the U.S. and United Kingdom. She also served as the resort’s interim director of food and beverage in 2007. Hudgins served on the opening team of Whiskey Creek Golf Club, in Ijamsville, Maryland, as director of sales and marketing. The club is home to Ernie Els’ first architectural design.
Hudgins is a native of Frederick, Maryland, where she resides with her two daughters.
The Country Club at Woodmore offers a variety of social and family events, golf, tennis and fitness
