BONITA, CA – Knuth Golf and its’ much-anticipated High Heat driver will exhibit in the demo portion of the PGA Fashion & Demo Experience Aug. 18-20 in Las Vegas, NV.
The High Heat 460cc driver was designed by Dean Knuth, who was a Senior Director at the United States Golf Association for over 16 years. He created High Heat with the amateur golfer in mind, utilizing his Optimal CG Game Changer and Fire Zone Face technologies.
It is well known that tee shots hit below the center of the face can be 20 or more yards shorter than those hit above the center of the face. High Heat has a much deeper and lower center of gravity (CG) than any of the major brands, producing a better launch angle and lower spin which results in more distance.
“High Heat’s lower CG is very important,” said Knuth. “Amateurs regularly hit in the area above High Heat’s CG which is below the major brands’ average CG location. Tests have proven that drives are longer when hit above a driver’s CG compared to hitting below the CG.”
Knuth Golf’s Fire Zone Face Technology includes a unique face with a combination of seven different zones of variable thickness, including patented “parabolic” lobes at the top of the toe and heel of the face. This increases spring-like effect across the entire sweet spot zone while still conforming to USGA Rules and increasing the accuracy of High Heat
High Heat was tested against the major brands by Golf Laboratories, which is the world’s leading independent, robotic testing facility, and used by Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, and several major brands. Golf Laboratories found that High Heat was longer, straighter, and had more forgiveness than the major brands.
Attendees of the PGA Fashion & Demo Experience will be able to test High Heat first hand from the Knuth hitting bay No. 9 at Cascata Golf Club near Las Vegas on Monday, Aug. 18 between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. The final two days of the PGA Fashion & Demo Experience will follow on Tuesday and Wednesday at Venetian Resort Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.

Founder Dean Knuth believed that he could design golf clubs from the ground up for amateurs that would be longer, straighter and with a larger sweet spot zone than the major brands for all amateurs with swing speeds less than the Tour players. The company was born out of Knuth’s 40 years of love for and commitment to amateur golf, including the 16 years he spent as Senior Director at the USGA.
The company’s first product, the High Heat 460cc driver, utilizes a deeper and lower center of gravity and seven different zones of variable thickness in the face to deliver longer and straighter drives than major brands, as proven by independent robotic testing.
