MST Golf and Alliance Bank are partnering once again to bring you the “Alliance Bank ilovegolf Tournament 2014” which will officially tee off on the 28th of August at Penang Golf Club, Penang.
The tournament, the 7th installment this year, has gradually grown to a sizable following and number of participants since its inception. Today, it is perceived as one of the most sought-after amateur tournaments specially organised for MST Golf’s ilovegolf members, which number over 45,000 in Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.
Alliance Bank is continuing its support for this tournament as title sponsor after enjoying overwhelming success, exposure and support from the local golfing community at the last tournament in 2012.
The Alliance Bank ilovegolf Tournament 2014 will consist of 5 rounds with venues in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor and Sabah. The final round will conclude on the 20th of November at the Sutera Harbour Golf & Country Club in Sabah. This exclusive “members only” tournament has been exclusively designed to reward the 45,000 ilovegolf members nationwide for their loyalty and support. The ilovegolf loyalty program was initiated by MST GOLF to promote the game of golf, its lifestyle, to foster closer ties among the golfing community and to provide a networking platform for golfers to widen their connections.
ilovegolf members are entitled to a wide range of benefits and privileges, such as savings on golf equipment, golf games, golf skills training and much more. This tournament is opened to active ilovegolf members aged 18 years and above who are amateur golfers and whose amateur status is not revoked by governing golf associations of their respective country. This year, the tournament also receives overwhelming support from official partners which include Callaway Golf, Cobra Golf, Colantotte, ONOFF, TaylorMade, Titleist, Wilson Staff, Yamaha, 100Plus and Carlsberg.
The tournament will offer attractive goodies worth more than RM500 for each entry. Participants will receive goodies which include a PGA Tour golf shirt, PGA Tour golf cap, PGA Tour carryall bag and Titleist golf balls.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 finishers in “Category A (Handicap 16 and below)” and “Category B (Handicap 17 and above)”.
In addition, there are five Novelty Prizes up for grabs, comprising:
