MOORHEAD, MN. – WORLD GOLF SKILLS® has announced plans today to launch the 2015 World Golf Skills® Championship at the 2014 PGA Fashion and Demo Experience. World Golf Skills® will celebrate the launch with a ceremonial opening shot by Paul Holtby, Big Break IV Winner, and a series of golf skills challenges on August 18-19, 2014.
WGS® Putting Challenge powered by Score Rings®
Monday, August 18th
On Monday, August 18th, World Golf Skills® will kick-off the WGS® Putting Challenge at the PGA Demo Experience on the beautiful practice facilities of Cascata Golf Club, which was recently voted the #1 Golf Facility in the United States. The WGS® Putting Challenge qualifying will be open from 4:00pm – 6:00pm on the contest putting green, with the finals being hosted at 7:00pm. Paul Holtby, Big Break IV Winner, will be on-hand during the challenge and the first 250 participants will receive a free Holtby CenterSpot.

1st Place = 5 x Score Ring Putting Packages
2nd Place = 3 x Score Ring Putting Packages
3rd Place = 1 x Score Ring Putting Package
The WGS® Putting Challenge is free of charge and open to all PGA Professionals. Non-PGA Professionals can also compete in the WGS® Putting Challenge by requesting an invitation from World Golf Skills® to enter the PGA Demo Experience.

On Monday, August 18th, World Golf Skills® will kick-off the WGS® Short Game Challenge powered by Score Rings® at the PGA Demo Experience on the beautiful practice facilities of Cascata Golf Club, which was recently voted the #1 Golf Facility in the United States. The WGS® Short Game Challenge powered by Score Rings® qualifying will be open from 3:00pm – 7:00pm on Chipping Green 1 (CG1), with the finals being hosted under the lights at 7:30pm.

On Monday, August 18th, World Golf Skills® will kick-off the World Golf Skills® Challenge powered by FlightScope® at the PGA Demo Experience on the beautiful practice facilities of Cascata Golf Club, which was recently voted the #1 Golf Facility in the United States. The World Golf Skills® Challenge powered by FlightScope® qualifying will be open from 3:00pm – 9:00pm at Hitting Bay #1 on Monday and qualifying will continue on Tuesday, August 19th from 4:00pm – 7:00pm right off the Las Vegas Strip at the TaylorMade Golf Experience. The finals will then be held from 8pm – 9pm overlooking the beaming Las Vegas skyline.
The World Golf Skills® Challenge powered by FlightScope® is free of charge and open to all PGA Professionals. Non-PGA Professionals can also compete in the World Golf Skills® Challenge powered by FlightScope® by requesting an invitation from World Golf Skills® to enter the PGA Demo Experience or by participating during the qualifying session on Tuesday, August 19th at the TaylorMade Golf Experience.
