NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (08/26/14) – KZG, the #1 Custom ProLine™, is excited to join the PGA in its efforts to grow the game. KZG and the Southern California PGA will be hosting a seminar on the importance of custom club fitting and how the game can grow when golfers’ have the right equipment to play their best. This seminar will be open to all SCPGA members and apprentices.
The attendees of the program will cover many aspects of fitting, building and marketing custom clubs. KZG’s Master ClubFitter Alex Crowe will focus on the fitting process, including analyzing the golfer’s current bag, assessing the proper specifications required by the golfer, the process of testing various options and making adjustments, interpreting launch monitor data and making final selection.
KZG’s Master Builder Audiel Guzman will demonstrate the intricacies of a true custom build including weight sorting, spine aligning, frequency matching and MOI matching. True professionals know that a great fit is a total waste if the clubs are not built correctly.
Time will also be spent on clubhead design, shaft profiling, marketing custom clubs, and actually making a profit and at the same time growing the game. PGA Player Development Regional Manager, Nikki Gatch, will spend time focusing on how custom club fitting paired with instructional programs, is such a vital part of player development, and essentially growing the game and growing the PGA Professional’s business.
“All of us at KZG applaud the PGA’s efforts in growing the game” reports Jennifer King, President of KZG. “At KZG, we truly believe the first step is providing golfers with equipment that will actually allow them to play their best. With 9 out of 10 golfers still playing the wrong equipment, it is no surprise that so many leave the game out of sheer frustration. Let’s change that destructive trend!”
The seminar will take place on Wednesday, September 24 from 10:00am to 3:00pm and attendees will earn 5 MSR Credits. Please contact Nikki Gatch at ngatch@pgahq.com to sign up.
