Unique design, patented technology help 9 players finish in the Top 10 in four pro tournaments

WIXOM, Mich. – SuperStroke, the leading name in oversized putter grips and manufacturers of the fastest growing putter grips on tour, helped capture wins on the United States and European senior tours this past weekend. With the help of the 21-inch belly putter grip, the winner of the senior tour event in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, picked up his second victory on the tour this season and the 11th of his career after a tap-in birdie on the first playoff hole. He finished with a 9-under 61, which broke the course record at Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club.

For the season, he ranks sixth on the senior tour in Putting Average with a 1.723 average, seventh in Putts Per Round with a 28.79 average and was 11th in Overall Putting Average with a 1.371 average.

On the senior tour in Europe, the winner used SuperStroke’s 17-inch Slim putter grip to help complete a wire-to-wire finish and successfully defend his tournament title at the Woburn Golf Course in Woburn, England. He finished with a 12-under 204 (68-69-67) for his fourth win in just nine appearances on the senior tour.

“It’s very gratifying to see that players continue to show their confidence in SuperStroke’s grips to consistently perform on the professional tours,” said Jon Luna, SuperStroke Marketing Director. “Any type of golfer, regardless of handicap or if they are an amateur or professional, can benefit from a SuperStroke™ Putter Grip. Our grips help make any putter better.”

In total, SuperStroke grips helped nine players finish in the Top 10 at four men’s professional tour events in Massachusetts, Indiana, Canada, and England this past weekend.

In addition to the two winners on the senior tours, SuperStroke’s Flatso Ultra helped one player tie for second at the second leg of the season-ending playoffs at tournament at TPC Boston in Norton, Massachusetts. He finished the tournament 12th in Strokes Gained Putting. Jordan Spieth, who also plays SuperStroke’s Flatso Ultra, finished the tournament tied for eighth in Putts Per Greens In Regulation with a 1.667 average.

Spieth currently ranks second on the tour in Overall Putting Average with a 1.548 average through 94 rounds. He is second in Putts Per Round with an average of 27.87. He currently ranks ninth in the season-ending playoff standings, which means he will advance to the next leg of the playoffs and take part at the tournament at the Cherry Hills Country Club in Colorado. Only the top 70 players in the standings will play at Cherry Hills CC this weekend. At the conclusion of that event only the top 30 in the playoff standings will move on to the final in Atlanta, Georgia and a chance at the $10 million prize.

At the men’s professional tournament in Fort Wayne, Indiana, three SuperStroke players finished in the Top 10. Two of the three players finished the tournament fifth and sixth in Putts Per GIR playing SuperStroke’s Slim 3.0 and JP-100 Tour Prototype respectively.
